The company was first registered in August 1976 and was set up to carry out Grounds Maintenance, Tree Surgery, Fencing, Pest Control and associated Hygiene Services work.

Over the years these services have been expanded to include maintenance of artificial sports grounds, logs and biomass sales, car park sweeping and cleaning, provision of salt/grit spreading services, drainage clearance and repairs, clearance of sites following occupation by drug users and itinerants and most recently a service for the collection and disposal of used fluorescent tubes.

Our belief is that we should provide our customers with the confidence to entrust us with the safe, swift and certain resolutions to the problems they may encounter in the course of operating their business, farm, school, hospital etc.

To ensure this we invest in the best staff we can find, equip them with the right machinery for the jobs to be done and ensure they are thoroughly trained and properly insured for the task.

The Grounds Maintenance activity is an element of the J. A. Kent Services Ltd. group which incorporates Acer Tree Care, Conquer Pest Control and Kent Services Building Maintenance.

Because of our associated companies we can undertake hard landscaping, tarmac work on paths and driveways as well as controlling garden pests like moles and squirrels, insect pests in lawns and shrubberies and constructing pergolas or garden features covering the Midlands area.

An appropriate “paper trail” audits our activity from receipt of order to final invoice and all work is to ISO 9001.2008.  We are SAFEcontractor registered.
