Set up in early 1976 by brothers Tony and Brian Lewis, A. B. Lewis Ltd. was born from the success of previous businesses in the timber industry.

Over the last 30 years we have been successful in securing close ties with sawmills and factories all over the world enabling us to offer niche products to our customers at competitive prices.

A specialist importer and distributor of sawn and further processed quality hardwoods, and more recently solid and engineered wood flooring, the company situated on the outskirts of Liverpool Docks has a nationwide distribution base, fully able to store and dispatch products and services throughout the UK and overseas.

The company is a member of the Timber Trade Federation, Forests Forever and is also proud to be Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC®) certified (FSC® C007915) ensuring supplies come from responsibly managed forests, whilst at the same time protecting Global wildlife, plants, soil and ensuring biodiversity.
